Leicester YMCA provides an inclusive environment, positive learning experiences and creative play, enabling children to develop physically, emotionally and socially whilst having fun. Our team is passionate about engaging people and possess excellent knowledge in parenting, education and children's work.

Activities and Holiday Schemes

During school breaks we run a fun and healthy play scheme for 5 – 12 year olds, packed full of exciting activities designed to stimulate children's minds and develop new skills.

Leicester YMCA provides many activities for children year round including sports, professional theatre and a wide range of childrens classes such as drama and dance.

Working with Schools

Our expertise has proved valuable within a number of different school partnerships and we also work with young people who are under achieving or at risk of exclusion. Find out more about working with schools.

Parenting

We were funded by the Home Office to create an empowering parenting course, designed to increase understanding of issues relating to education health and crime. We are also accredited to deliver Strengthening Families.
