Advice and Information 10am – 1pmWe provide holistic, person centred support to people with no alternative support networks. The introduction of personal development plans focuses the individual on moving forward, assisting them in the initial phases of stabilisation and helping them become solution focussed by developing reflective learning and transferable skills so they can achieve positive outcomes.
Our staff team have a broad knowledge of resources available and work closely with other agencies. Staff will provide:
Employability SkillsAs part of the citywide No Second Night Out partnership we facilitate the delivery of workshops for clients seeking employment, which includes understanding the job market, writing CVs, improving reading and writing skills, interview preparation and work experience.
Medical ServicesA full range of health services is provided by Inclusion Healthcare and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, alongside our mental health access worker.

Volunteers/DonationsWe rely on donations in cash and kind to enable us to continue to provide a high level of service. We need help with:
- Volunteers to help with refreshments and fundraising
- Cash donations
- Donations of non-perishable food and toiletries
Partnership WorkingWe are located within the Dawn Centre, a unique project seeing all the main homeless services brought together under one roof, with The Y as the only voluntary sector provider. Close partnership working has resulted in the provision of high quality, seamless services for the community. The Dawn Centre also comprises:
- Leicester City Council's temporary accommodation and outreach team
- Inclusion Healthcare
- Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
