What is it?

Entry to Employment (e2e) is a work based learning initiative for 16 – 18 year olds. Our e2e is designed for young people aged 16-18 who want to develop their interest in sport to gain new skills and job opportunities. The course runs for about 22 weeks including work experience and a residential trip. Sports include basketball, football, hockey, kwik cricket, badminton, table tennis and gym

What will I learn?

Sports: Coaching, fitness, safety, equality in sport, disability in sport, health and nutrition, planning a sports event and leadership skills.

Personal development: CV writing, interview techniques/role play, confidence workshop, money management, letter writing, drugs awareness and sexual health.

What qualifications will I gain?

  • Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership
  • First Aid
