In August 2010 The Y began using a new box office system. We are taking this opportunity to refresh our data and save trees by checking who still wants to receive the brochure by post and gathering customer emails. We are sorry that if we don’t hear from you this season you may not receive future brochures.Please make sure we have your details right by buying a ticket, calling us, emailing us or editing your own details and preferences online. On-line
The on-line booking facility is available 24 hours a day. There is a booking fee of 60p per ticket, plus 50p per booking if you would like your tickets to be posted. From the What's On page choose 'More Info' next to your event. If there is an option to book on-line you'll see a 'Buy Tickets' button.Box Office : 0116 255 7066
The Y box office is open for bookings by phone or in person Monday to Thursday 9am - 9.30pm and Friday to Sunday 10am – 5pm or up to 9.30pm on event nights. We are located at 7 East Street, Leicester, LE1 6EY, 0116 255 7066.There is a 50p charge per booking for postage and a 50p charge per debit/ credit card transaction. For postal bookings please send a cheque payable to 'Leicester YMCA' and details of your booking to the Box Office at the address above.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances.Reservations
Reservations made via the box office will be held for 4 days or 1 hour before the performance start time, whichever is sooner, on provision of a name and telephone number. Bookings not paid for will be removed after this time. Reservations can not be made via the internet.Ticket Options
The Y has a flexible downstairs auditorium and a fixed seating balcony. The auditorium can easily be converted to accommodate standing music gigs, relaxed cabaret nights or stalls seating in rows. Some events will be reserved and others unreserved, therefore it is advisable to check at the time of booking. For unreserved events your ticket will be designated for either the balcony or downstairs. Standing in the balcony is not permitted during performances. Please note that times given are 'on stage' times.Group Booking
For many events we offer a free ticket for every 9 purchased. For groups of 10 we can reserve a table, where the seating is cabaret style. Please contact the box office to make a group booking.Concessions
Concessions are available with proof of eligibility where a reduced price is given in The Y’s brochure or on our website. Unless otherwise stated concession tickets are available for children up to 16, students, people unemployed and in receipt of benefits, senior citizens, and Stars members. Please show appropriate identification when collecting tickets. Concessions can be purchased on the internet or over the telephone however tickets must be collected in person with appropriate identification.Access Information

- Wheelchair spaces in the East Street NCP car park
- Please advise our Box Office before your visit if you require the hearing loop
- Guide dogs are welcome
The Y Bar
The Y is equipped with a licensed bar which is open during performances. Drinks can be taken into the venue. Adults should be prepared to show ID to prove they are 18 or over when buying alcohol. No children under the age of 14 may enter the bar area while alcohol is being served.General Terms

- Introduce or change special offers, ticket prices and fees
- Change the location of a ticket without prior notice
