Every young person deserves a safe place to call home.

A message from Paul Brown, CEO: “After more than a year of closure, we are excited to be welcoming back audiences to The Y Theatre from 17th May 2021. The team have worked hard to prepare the venue and have created full safety guidelines for visitors.

Our amazing staff have kept our core services running with such strong resolve throughout the most challenging year we’ve ever experienced. In this time we have developed our Y Skills Matter sessions and Y Events Lab to help boost the skills and confidence of young people living in our supported accommodation. We also took a number of steps to give extra support to young people facing mental health challenges, digital disadvantage and isolation.

We offer a huge thank you to businesses and members of the community who have shown incredible care and support and we hope to forge new partnerships in the coming year.

Our city centre building will begin to welcome back visitors for pre-booked activities rather than drop in, so we kindly request that you pre-book or contact us first with your enquiry.”
