Little ways to make a BIG impact

• Nominate us as your Charity of The Year:
  Lets work together to fundraise, innovate, inspire and motivate your employees to enjoy advocating for vulnerable young people here in Leicester.
• Display a collection tin:
  Small change can bring change and it also helps raise awareness of our work among your staff and customer base.
• Donate a prize or experience:
  We welcome donations of raffle prizes, items that we can use to raise funds OR provide to our young people.
• Host or take part in an event:
  We can support you to raise funds through all kinds of exciting challenges and events. OR hold your own cake sale, quiz night or dress down day.

• Hire The Y Theatre:
  Built in 1900, it is Leicester’s oldest surviving theatre. Hire any of our spaces for your conference or event and support the charity’s work.
• Sponsor a house:
  You’ll be providing a warm, safe place for five young people every night, setting them up with the skills and support to leave homelessness behind for good.
• Step Into Work Bursary:
  Support formerly homeless young people achieve and sustain their employment with a bursary to help cover things like rent, interview clothes and skills while transitioning into work.

In September 2019, we hosted a circus themed fundraising event that we dubbed “Cirque Du Y”, inspired by our supporters over at Gallagher and of course The Greatest Showman. You can read more about that particular event which brought many businesses from Leicester together to raise money for The Y.
