If your business is looking for a charity partnership then why not sign up to support our Youth Homelessness Ends Here campaign? We know businesses and their employees want to see the impact of their fundraising and donations, and supporting a local charity like The Y means that you will be having a direct impact on the community around you. Alongside that we can also bring benefits to your business, including enhancing employee relationships, gaining positive publicity, utilising surplus stock and fulfilling your Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
We are delighted to be Berkeley’s chosen charity of the year for 2017. Funds are raised through a variety of methods including a staff salary sacrifice scheme, sponsored activities and corporate donations.
Have been supporting The Y throughout 2016 – 2017 by making us a community partner and promoting our work to their business network and website. The Y also recieved donations from The Best of Leicester’s Networking Curry Evening.
Has created 25 sets of wardrobes and drawers especially for The Y, using surplus materials that would otherwise have gone to waste. These have helped us to refurbish two new move-on houses.
Have chosen to support The Y’s Youth Homelessness Ends Here Campaign in a number of ways, starting with their first successful client event in The Y Theatre.
As charity of the year 2015-2016 for Sainsbury’s Granby Street, The Y has received over £2,000 from store collecting tins and bag charges. The team went the extra mile by donating food to support our residents.
Staff have donated £250 as well as several boxes of toiletries that they have collected for our residents.
We’ve had some great cook and eat session for residents thanks to a range of products donated by Pukka Pies!
