This New Year Make a Resolution to Shop For Good

Support the wellbeing of young people with the following retailers

We’re delighted to have been chosen as a co-op local project for the next year and we need your help to earn membership reward points! When you shop you’ll be supporting regular Cook and Eat sessions to boost the wellbeing of our young people aged 16-25.

Choose The Y with your co-op membership

By becoming a Co-op member and choosing The Y, you can earn points for both yourself and The Y at all eligible Co-op stores in the UK and with on-line shopping. To support our Cook and Eat sessions, collect your Co-op reward points until 22nd October 2022.

A boost for wellbeing

Cook and Eat is part of our Y Skills Matter programme that helps disadvantaged young people gain skills to enable a positive transition to independence and increase mental wellbeing. Many of our residents have experienced homelessness, family breakdown, mental health issues or trauma and the Cook and Eat sessions will help them create meals on a budget. With an increase in poor mental health, a shared meal can give a huge boost to their confidence and ability to engage positively with others.
